Need help

I bought a new sd card for my touch pro 2...and when i plug in my phone to usb through my computer and hit "disk drive" it locks up my computer..and never shows phone icon, but if i take sd card out and put it card reader it works....any ideas????

Try formatting the SD card

did that didnt work..took sd card back to store...twice...

Maybe it's your computer and not the card. Can you define your computer locking up? Do you need to reboot via the power button (e.g., freeze) or do you get a BSOD, or what? I do know that the first time you connect is as a USB drive, your computer will take a minute or so to install the required driver in order for it to work, so you have to be patient while it does that.

I am having a problem where my tp2 keeps losing my storage card. every other time i go into file explorer my tp2 will not read my storage, i have to take it out and put it back in. Do you guys think its defective or should i format the 16gb card if that will even help?
