It is default to automatic sensor, but if you don't want it on, you can go to start>settings>all settings>personal>buttons>backlight and uncheck "Enable keyboard backlight auto sensor" ... then the light just stays on.

It turns off when the keyboard is closed and on when it's open. I don't like the auto think because it seems to brighten and dim as I type. Also, I'm crazy, so try it for yourself and see what you like.

I would, but I don't have a tp2 yet.. lol.
on the tp1 it would only stay on 10 sec, until no2chem hacked the driver. I agree about auto sense (tp1 has this too) I think it's a bigger drain on the battery than it actually saves, plus it's annoying. |
