Was it ever figured out if you guys were to get a neutered version like usual? I have a few buddies that want it pretty bad but this is the only question left to be answered.

called the 800 number, lady said it wasnt possible to order.

ya you cant order it yet, most likely Friday but maybe just maybe Thursday.

Not calling the threadstarter a liar but maybe the guy he was talking to just got a telesales rep on the other line and said "Hey order this customer a TP2 when you can".

He did say you'd get it early but it would be easy to say "oh it took a few days longer to ship, sorry" if you didn't get it til Saturday/Monday.

But hey, if you get it early, cool.

yeah just tried calling again (pretty much immediatly after i tried the first time) the lady was nicer this time she looked into it and told me i couldnt order till they get a release date. I really dont see how this guy was able to order.

I would double check that order. Every one I talked to thanks I am talking about the Touch Pro. I bet you will be freaking when a first gen touch pro shows up Friday. You cant order till Friday. Believe me they will sell you one if they can.

the OP say too that he got it for $100. that would almost mean that its the TP not the TP2
