Lost SIM Card

Well my new eBay bargain TP2 is almost completely set-up, but I have discovered that it did not come with a SIM card for international. is this a problem? How can I get a replacement, or should I not bother if I will buy SIMs overseas... headed out a week from today.

Re: Lost SIM Card

it should no big deal. but you can always call sprint and ask them to send you a replacement. . just tell them you lost it. you can just use the local carrier's sim where you're going. just dont forget to switch phone to gsm.

Re: Lost SIM Card

The TP2 you received may have been a replacement for whom ever the seller was. Replacements through Service and Repair(refurbs) do not come with the SIM chip. On the front of the replacement device it advises the person receiving the phone to contact Sprint. Or like you said try a SIM from where ever you are going. It may(should because the phone is SIM unlocked) or may not function. Good luck.

Re: Lost SIM Card

USCC TP2's don't come with SIM cards. There really is no point. Even if you have a blank SIM card, whichever carrier you use overseas will probably give you one of theirs anyway.
