As for downloading "any" software to your TP2 "like a PC"..

The TP2 runs Windows Mobile as its operating system. This is similar to Windows on a desktop/laptop PC, with many of the same features (such as cut/copy/paste, multitasking, MS Office, ability to load apps from anywhere, etc.) , but with a lot of differences too (such as a different interface, no mouse, and more limited internal structures).

As an example, you cannot go to www.adobe.com and load Photoshop on the phone. Its just too large, and for the most part, it needs resources that a phone just doesn't have. However, there are a few image creation and editing tools out there for Windows Mobile, though I don't know of any off-hand.

The back button functions the same as an "ok" button would.

With no actual 'Ctrl' key its gonna be a real *****, or impossible, to paste in the multitude of applications that dont allow click and hold contextual menus. That sucks.

I used Finger Keyboard VGA on my TP & now Finger Keyboard WVGA on my TP2. An excellent Keyboard that I prefer over HTC's offer & it has a bunch of shortcuts on keys available including undo, cut, copy & paste keys that I use alot...
