True, but the power button won't help you if your phone locks up. That's why there's a reset button.

If the phone is locked up, what purpose does the reset software programs serve? Not trying to be sarcastic, just wanting to know if having that sort of software is really necessary with this phone. It absolutely was with my 800w (or you could anticipate taking the battery cover off all the time).
