Motorola H710 BT - now requires double tap to end call???

I've been having this problem since I got my TP2 and never bothered until now to figure out how to resolve it. With my Motorola H710 BT headset, as is the case with probably most headsets, to end a call you normally just tap the main headset button. Worked like that on my TP, and that's how the manual explains it should work.

With my TP2 I could never get it to work, so I've been constantly closing the boom instead. I've just played around with it and found that a double tap on the main headset button does the job!

Single tap to use MSVC works just fine. Long press to redial last number too. Just the single tap to end a call has turned into a double tap!

No biggie, just wondered if anyone else had experienced similar issues.

I have an old HS700 I pulled out and tested and it only took one tap to hang up. If we have an opened h710 in the store I'll check it out for you next time I work and see if mine does it.

Thanks. I actually have an unopened 710 at work that I may try too.

Re: Motorola H710 BT - now requires double tap to end call???

I have one of the new Motorola HX1 Endeavor headsets that worked great with my TP. Now with my TP2, after I press the call button on the headset, it takes maybe 5-10 seconds for it to actually hang up the call. It doesn't matter how many times I press the call button on the headset. Anyone else seeing this?

Re: Motorola H710 BT - now requires double tap to end call???

Im seeing the same issue with my Motorola H15 bt. I'm noticing that the easiest way to end a call is just by pressing end on the phone.
