TP2 and Mobile Shell 3

Is there any way to get the stock tab (and other custome TF stuff for that matter) from TF into a wiget or launchable program for MS 3?

Thanks in advance to the really smart people that respond!

Is anyone else runnign Mobile Shell 3.0.1 having trouble with the Mobile Shell Wireless Manager.

I can't seem to turn Bluetooth on or off via the SPB Wireless manager.

Running SPB MS 3.01 and own Wireless Manager (was included in a bundle) but never installed it sorry. Just a personal preference, but I never turn BT off anyway. Wifi...yes, BT...never. Doesn't seem to have too much of an impact on battery life for me.

SPB Mobile Shell forums do acknowledge this problem...but the last post I read on the following thread suggests it might not actually be a Mobile Shell integration issue...

Same problem here...I replaced the wiget with the communication app...works ok...I still prefer MS3 to TF...just hope they get everything worked out...would HATE to redue everything to be TF specific!

The beauty of MS3 are the widgets I've added the Comm Manager widget to my Lifestyle main page and can simply tap that to bring up the comm manager and start/stop wifi, BT (if I ever actually stopped it, which I don't), push e-mail, etc. Adding the Wireless Manager widget accomplishes pretty much the same thing too.

Alternatively, with the new TP2 keyboard controller here, you can always assign one of the hard buttons (with a double click or long press) to turn BT on and off.

Re: TP2 and Mobile Shell 3

Thanks for the reply's. I don't think I am using MS3 to its fullest. I am still pretty much just using the stock professional layout.

Oh Chaz, Chaz, Chaz You've got to check out this thread for the 3rd party pro widget tools from jgjackson on the SPB forums. They add a whole new level of customization, and productivity in my opinion, to MS3. Enjoy.

Here's a link to my home screen thanks to those new widgets...

Re: TP2 and Mobile Shell 3

Well get busy! MS3 is well worth the small learning curve...I hust hope they get the phone dialer issues resolved soon...not a deal breaker by any means, but they need to fix it...Still like MS3 better than TF

The other popular set of widgets are from MSkip. Take a look at

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...postcount=3062

or

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=554798

I've used MSkips' with great success on a Titan. I'm sure they'll look even better on a TP2 (waiting for tomorrow . . . Verizon . . )

MSkips' packs are resolution dependent. Make sure you get the WVGA version.
