A few basic questions while waiting for mine

Relating to the original TP a few questions regarding basic issues.

When opening up the keyboard the soft keyboard would always pop up. Does this still happen?

Scrolling the contact list it would either eventually go berserk and fly past what I wanted to find or continually pop up a contact even though I didn't click on it. Does this operate more smoothly?

With the lack of buttons I still managed to assign the Wifi page to the phone button when pressing for the extended time. Did I read there are no button mappings with the TP2? Does it take multiple steps to turn off/on Wifi?

Is YouTube on the phone and is it a better application? I didn't like the original because it did not have a current date sort.

Anyone test the stock page? Can you set the update frequency and is there a limit to the number of stocks that can be listed?

Thanks all in advance.

Re: A few basic questions while waiting for mine

The simple answer to your first question about the SIP popping up when sliding out the keyboard is "no, it does not pop up".

Use the Rhodium Keyboard Controller found here at xda for question # 3. I've actually assigned my long-press start button to turn wifi on and off.

Can't answer your other questions sorry...I don't use TF3D and seldom use YouTube on my phone.

Re: A few basic questions while waiting for mine

Thanks for the two answers. Relief on the first one and definitely will follow your recommendation for the other. Thanks again.

Re: A few basic questions while waiting for mine

Ah, left out a couple of other questions.

I don't care about stereo but you need stereo earplugs to keep the connection open when for example running Slingbox. On my TP2 I use BTAudioOn to keep the connection open. Is it now possible to use a regular bluetooth earpiece or do you still need a stereo earpiece or BTAudioOn to keep the connection open?

The keyboard light on the TP never stayed on long enough. Has this been fixed and is the timeout configurable?

Thanks again.
