TVersity and Touch Pro2 To Transcode/Stream Videos from PC

I'm trying to get transcoding working with TVersity in order to transcode the media I have on my PC into a lower resolution/bitrate in order for it to stream properly on my Touch Pro2 with TCPMP.

I can stream without any problems with TVersity. (If you haven't tried it out yet, I'd highly recommend it. http://www.tversity.com I like it better than Orb since you don't have to stream through a 3rd party.) The videos that are in lower resolutions are streaming pretty well but once I try streaming some of the ones in HD, the TP2 goes kaput and chops like crazy.

TVersity has the ability to transcode to a lower resolution and bitrate on the fly, but for some reason, any media that is transcoded to my TP2 being played with TCPMP only plays the first frame and then freezes, or tells me to increase my buffer. The buffer has been maxed out but that doesn't fix anything either.

Anyone else on here managed to get their media transcoding properly with TVersity and TCPMP? The only other option is re-encoding my entire video collection and that is obviously not a very preferred solution.

Re: TVersity and Touch Pro2

Well, I'm using CorePlayer and it seems to be doing a WAY better job than TCPMP for streaming at least. Still having some issues with transcoding but there are a ton of different variables I can tweak.

Re: TVersity and Touch Pro2

Nobody's tried using transcoding to MP4 with TVersity to stream to their TP2s? I would think this would be a WAY better solution than re-encoding your entire library and transferring to files over to your phone if you just wanted to casually stream some of your media from your home PC via the web interface.

I'm using CorePlayer now instead of TCPMP but the stream still refuses to play when it is being transcoded, and using Orb just doesn't have the quality I know could be squeezed out of TVersity.
