Do a hard reset right out of the box. Check out the tweaks thread.

ive heard alot of people say that b4..why though?

technically when you turn it on, you are hard resetting it already, since nothing is on it till to run through the first time...your going through the identical steps(minus the key presses) already... the same thing will happen... it will boot up, go through the screen tap, the copy paste tutorial, and then load customizations.. so see, when u turn it on out of the box, its hard resetting already

just wondered why quite a few say do that is all...

I've always wondered the same thing.

Re: Hello

Always good to do a hard reset...never know who has been playing around with the device before you bought it...installing 6.5 task bars on T-Mobile TP2s...nude pics as home screen on Moguls, etc. lol . There may be other reasons as well, but this is why I would do it.
