Well Hullo, Folks!

I've been interested in using a white wallpaper on my Telus TP2 for a while now, and wanted to change the default text in manila 2.1 to a darker colour, but couldn't find any easy fixes.

THEREFORE, I'm working on a mod that will allow you to change the default text in Manila 2.1 to a darker shade, so that you can use a white/light coloured background and still be able to see your text!

It's taking a little time 'cause I have to find the manila files responsible, (mode9/LUA) and edit them to display a different RGBa colour. I'm also changing some of the icons (alarm clock for instance) to a darker shade.

Within the near future I'll compile it as a CAB for easy install/removal.

I`ve attached a screenshot of what I'm talking about.

Anybody interested?

(if anyone's already done this up, please let me know so I don't waste me life away!)

I did the same on the TP, so have fun at it. LMK if you need help because I have it almost done for the Telus version of their Manila.

I have updated the TP 2 version to better separate the white and black colors around the manila.

Wouldn't white text on black extend the battery life? May look stupid though. Just curious

If the background is white or a lighter shade, you wouldn't need to have the backlight as bright. So lets try it out!

man i would love this been wanting that for a while on my tp
