Is the TP2 volume louder than the TP?

I have had a TP since launch and the Ringer and Reminder volumes have always been an issue. I work in a loud area and always seem to miss my meetings.
Also.. Is the ear speaker better than the TP? I use the speaker phone on every call because the volume is too low on the ear piece. If I use the loud volume hack the speaker makes a cracking sound. It would be nice to have a phone that actually works well as a phone. To be fair I still have the original TP from the first day of sales. Not sure if the speaker issue was corrected in later models...

I don't know about the quality of the TP...but I can vouch for the quality of the TP2. I just upgraded from a P4000 (Amazing phone...when it worked).

Here's what I've noticed. I've had issues talking in loud environments (convertable with top (and windows- cause otherwise that just looks weird) down, at a supplier's print room, etc) with the old phone...absolutely nothing of the sort with this one. The TP2 has a dual mic that's supposed to cut noise clutter - I think it may actually work! I've also used the conference calling feature connecting 2 other parties. No one knew the conference centre was my cell phone and everyone could hear each other perfectly.

I've had this bad boy for about a week...so far it looks like HTC got this one right.

I do think there may be an issue with the conference calling feature tho...I need to try to add more than 2 parties.

I noticed huge improvements in my touch pro2 over my touch pro.. I've had both phones since laungh. Great improvements. I first thought my tp2 sucked for volume, even after volume adjustment..
Then i took off the stock screen protector.. lol
