Re: Skyfire in Landscape

I don't think it's possible. I read over on their forums that people are requesting this feature and they are considering it. I can't believe it's not already included.

Well it switches to landscape with the keyboard open, if it would just stay that way when i close the keyboard!

Re: Skyfire in Landscape

I know what you mean, it's so frustrating that the function is present but only with the keyboard open. I wonder if there is an app out there that will emulate the opening of the keyboard to allow apps like Skyfire to rotate without opening the keyboard. If that app could be tied to the accelerometer it would be ideal.

Re: Skyfire in Landscape

the app "change screen" will do what you want.

Search XDA for it.

Re: Skyfire in Landscape

There's a bunch of applications out there that allow you to rotate the screen per program. I use Mobile Magic and I can set which programs allow for the automatic rotation or not.

I discovered this last night and you are right, that is a fantastic app! Fixed my complaint about lack of rotation with Skyfire and Opera 9.7 Beta. It also allows the TF3D home screen to rotate to landscape without opening the keyboard. Also very cool is that it will rotate any screen in any direction; 90, 180, 270, or 360 degrees. And the switch is very fast, I love that app!
