Off the wall hack question adding the front camera screen from international version

Off the wall hack question adding the front camera screen from international version to N American Cdma/gsm version
OK Yea I know question is why but I really want that front camera
(Wifi chat ? hey the phone is almost a netbook now)
Because the tilt screen is a separate part from the phone body a swap out of front screen of the two versions would look not to be that hard…
But will the internal connect be in the phone body?....
Just a question for when the first hardware teardown reviews and post start

Re: Off the wall hack question adding the front camera screen from international vers

Good question! I've often wondered if that was possible. If it is, I could see WiFi/3G IM video/audio/text chats being easily possible, just as it is on a PC - Just a matter of writing the apps, after all.

Even though CDMA does not support simultaneous voice and data connections, in theory, all the data could be carried by the data network, leaving the phone network out of the loop, thus avoiding the limitation.

In theory, the TP2 has the processing power to do it, though I can see this sort of thing pushing it to the limit.
