low earpeice volume

I find the earpeice volume during calls is not high enough for a loud environment. Does anyone know a way to increase it past the volume limit? A tweak or .cab of somesort?

i dont have the cab handy at the moment. but search for "badboyaudio" there will be two cabs. one for lite volume (which is just fine) or full volume (which IMO IS TOO LOUD AND DISTORTED)

hmm, I can't seem to find that cab anywhere. If anyone has a link or can post the cab that would be great.

I got you b, the lite is fine but if you need it I've included the full really loud version.

be careful when installing that audiopara file i created... they are usually specific to the device version meaning it hasn't been tested with the TP2 so i don't know if it will be compatible... pls do post your results...

Re: low earpeice volume

One thing that happened to me - Telus put this lovely hard plastic case on my phone to protect it, and I like that case - but what I found after I had problems with low earpiece (/microphone!) volume was that the tab on the plastic sheet that protects the phone was covering the speaker. Once I trimmed that sheet back down, both earpiece and mike started acting proper again. I believe the noise cancelling got confused.

OMG, Ok the volume was quiet on mine also... I bought that same plastic case from Telus.. After some advice from this forum I took the plastic case off to check it and noticed something...

On purpose I left the factory screen protector on which also had a little plastic tab on the top so it would easy to take it off.. That little tab blocked the handset speaker...

I'm such a n00b.. I cut the tab off and now the speaker is exposed.. I'll see if its louder today.. If not i'm going to apply the Badboy8813 Audio Fix- (Lite Boost).cab patch tonight...
