Can anyone help me or lead me to a HOT TO guide, for installing apps on the phone. This is my first windows mobile phone. I would like some of these apps but have NO clue how to install them on the phone.

Most apps come in *.cab form. Just copy them over to your phone (Activesync/sd card) and then browse to where you put it on your phone and just "open" the cab with file explorer and you should get an installation message.

can you download the file(s) with the browser on your phone? That would be another way to install them, though may not be as easy to browse online.

all these programs are pretty much brought over from the tp...or even some from the mogul.... i thought it would be a big difference like how the iphone has millions of apps..... fail..... im keepign my tp1 unless i get an upgrade free

Err... How long has the Touch Pro 2 been out in the U.S.?

As far as millions of apps... Bit of an exaggeration there. (they are at 84,009) They have a lot of apps, but they are geared towards casual users, rather than business users, not to mention a lot of them are just the same app, repackaged 50 different ways. http://www.148apps.com/10000/

Winmo is at about 30,000 applications currently. In retrospect there were 18,000 In June of 2008.

On a side note (completely unrelated, but extremely funny)My friend (with his Iphone) was screaming in agony...

The Iphones have an internal battery you can't access with ease. His precious Iphone locked up & he had to wait until the battery died before he could plug it in, recharge it & use it. He was without a phone for almost 3 hours. but it's ok. I let him use my TP 2...

thanks but this requires that use total commander to install... I have no idea how to use that. Is there a cab?

browse site from phone download apps to phone put on storage card, go to file explorer find storage card look for apps u downloaded tap on it the install process should begin
