default screen lock
 

hey guys, the TP2 defaults to a screen lock when ever the screen is shut off. can't turn that off as I was able to in all my other winmo devices... any insight on where there hid this feature?

cant find anythign in the registry, or anywhere else... juset set the simple PIN and set the timeout to 24 hours... probably won't be too often that I don't use my TP2 for over 24 hours; only then will I have to enter in a PIN...

^^ that's what I am talking about, but you cannot disable the screen lock there. only enable the use of a PIN code when waking up the device, so I set it to a 24 hour timeout, so that as long as I turn on the screen once every 24 hours, I never get the screen lock.

6.1... default TP2 ROM. no 6.5 love yet!

that must be a pretty new version of 6.1 because all the 6.1 roms i have used never had this feature. would be cool to see this rom used

i think codybear knows the registry edit for this

I tired this out, but even after a reboot, the lock still comes on. I've even tried to install s2u2 2.04, but then I would have to unlock s2u2 and then unlock again via the Windows Lock. Had to go a pin and a 24 time out.

Has anyone had sucess with the reg hack, and if so, what else did you do.

i read in an archived thread where i got that registry that one person said it worked for them. i didnt read much as i got what i wanted and wanted out of there lol
