Apearently there are rumors of Verizon version of TP2. The second link has this picture of a leaked HTC Touch Pro 2 with Verizon banded on it. :-o

im waitting for this on verizon.. i just dont want to pay for the data plan.. does anyone know a way around that? im around wifi all the time.

yeah i highly doubt you will get around the data plan unless you wanna fork out 600 shells for this phone. then you can add it to a regular plan as long as your not under a data plan contract. this is how you can get around it with alltel. not sure with verizon

you would think with verizon so money hungry.. they would allow you to not pay for the data plan.. so if you do use any data they will just %$#% u.. and charge you per KB.. i have a question... when i install a Navigation on the phone do i use data?

i dont think so because you are using the gps and its getting info from satellite.
