Post Optional Win8.1 Update May FUBAR WM 6.5 Device Docking

After setting up a Win8.1 Pro laptop to run WMDC and dock a Touch Pro 2 running WM 6.5, I was adding Optional Updates to the laptop today and saw this; "December 2014 MDM client update in Windows". Among other things this update:
"Enables an MDM management service to detect and require BitLocker drive encryption for all fixed operating systems and data drives on computers that are running Windows 8.1, Windows RT 8.1, or Windows Server 2012 R2."
you can search for mskb3013816 to read the full article.
For those still using a Windows Mobile based phone and docks it with a Win 8.1 machine (HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA like anyone but me is this attached to a Touch Pro 2 ) you may wish to research this before installing, my vibe says it's likely to cause more grief than it's worth.
I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone who has this update installed under any circumstance for feedback. I also kinda wonder if it will cause grief to folks docking a WinPhone-based smartdevice.

HTH someone.
