Most Updated Wifi Router App?

What's the most recent and reliable wifi sharing app available? I was running a cooked ROM that included the HTC wifi sharing app, but I've since reverted back to the Sprint stock ROM. I tried searching for some of the wifi apps, but most of the links seem to be dead now.

Is there still a wifi app that allows you to shut off the front screen while running the wifi router?

It's always been free if you downloaded the right version.
