Sprint TP2 Died, what to get?

» Taking the phone to Sprint today (Dallas, TX).
» Have Total Equipment Protection, no contract, on Everything Data - 450 pacakge, so I should have options, right!?
» Need tethering (internet sharing) without having to pay extra.
» Not required, but prefer slide-out keyboard.
» Camera / screen quality are low on my list.
» History: PPC-6700 » PPC-6800 » TP2
Suggestions???
Thanks!

Re: Sprint TP2 Died, what to get?

the htc arrive/evo shift are the closest to looking like the tp2... or epic for larger screen/keyboard

non-keyboard, it'll be epic touch/iphone on sprint :S

not too sure if the everything plan allows android/4g phones without price increase though... I'm on sero so I don't really look into how other plans work

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.3.4; en-us; SPH-D710 Build/GINGERBREAD) AppleWebKit/533.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/533.1)

You will need to change to an everything data plan with the additional premium data add on.

My advice dump sprint and goto T-mobile since u dont have a contract because Sprint's Network is suffering in alot of areas.

Phones I recommend on Tmo are the HTC HD7 and the HTC Radar (has 4G and tethering included)

Do you ever recommend non wp7 devices?

I say go to tmobile and get a android based device. Not only are they popular but they get alot of developer support. If you stick with sprint and need a keyboard get the evo shift. If you do not need one id go for the epic touch 4g or htc evo or evo view.

Allegedly! Though the O.P. Did say they were on an everything 450 data plan.

I recommend the arrive if you want the same type of keyboard. Plus with the new mango update I heard it's really nice. Otherwise if you don't mind losing the keyboard I recommend the epic touch 4g/galaxy s2 or the iPhone if your an apple guy and have an iPad and apple computer, it will be a perfect fit. All I know is that this is a good time to be on Sprint with all these choices.
