Maxx you are the man! :D

I decided to uninstall the no sense tweaks cab because I was noticing battery drain too and I am glad I did! The last cab you posted works great! So I'd say you have made a great improvement for this device. Nice Work! :thumbleft:

do you like your touch pro 2 now horn(y)doctor ? ;)

Hey I had to thank you because your post made me curious to look into our tiny keyboard more.
The TP2 settings have to be different because we are dealing with an older smaller touch screen than most other units around now.
For example, you cant just apply HD2 screen settings cab to a TP2 screen and have same results.

So after some rigorous keyboard testing,
I have refined the cab further with what I consider bettter keyboard setting for our dumb thumbs!
Will post updated cab soon!

Re: Make TP2 Finger Friendly like just new phones!

ok I updated cab with these fixes:
new keyboard fingering setting adjustments for less mistakes.
increased sensitivity adjustments
recalibrated settings to stabalize the increase
more finger flicking response in HTC
better stability when dragging, by slight increase in finger pixel range.

Try now the "MaxedMega_iFingerToucht11.cab"
This will be the last and best version! (I hope)

Many thanks Maxx134! Your MaxedMega_iFingerToucht11.cab increased the overall screen sensitivity on Vin's Pluto ROM builds here, even with the max sensitivity regedit already enabled.

Cheers,
R

Dudes!
Sorry, please re-upload new cab!
As the last one accidentally disabled rotation
in apps like Opera mini.
I had made that adjustment too high to save battery.
I removed the gSensor polling setting altogether from my cab,
so it will be whatever you have it at already.

Re: Make TP2 Finger Friendly like just new phones!

:coffee:I believe this is my final version so I made alternative flavors of the cab:
No opera tweaks for those that don't use Opera
No Sense tweaks for those that don't use HTC Sense.
Another version if you don't use neither.
Check first post..

I will actually post one more for impatient people who want faster rotation,
At expense of a little less battery life...:coffee:

Re: Make TP2 Finger Friendly like just new phones!

Dudes I have to point out an important factor overlooked..
YOUR SCREEN PROTECTOR!!!
I can only recommend "Bestskinsever"
As of 6/9/2011 it is the best at touch response and feel..
It is superior to the expensive ones you buy in stores.

Do not dismiss this because of the low price.
The new smoother, softer layer is better than the one I bought 6mo ago.
It is not gummy or tacky feeling,
And has very very little "orangepeel" effect on surface,
Like "Zagg Inisibleshield", although I am unaware if they
made improvements since last I used them a year ago.

BUT, I would still recommend the Zagg over any "plastic type" protector..
They are all stiff types..
Also, do not use stiff screen protectors..
I wan on Brando which is very smooth, but is thicker & stiffer.

In fact most thicker protectors, like mirror ones are not good.
An example id the "Brando"
The "brando" was pressing down on screen due to warping,
from excessive screen cleaning.

Also don't rub your TP2 screens too much as it will mess up the "digitizer" and your screen will develop rainbow effect, visible when unit is off. Then your screen stops responding!..

Well that's my experience so far.
