Swype for Touch Pro 2 (Sprint)
 

Does anyone know if there is an OS for the touch pro 2 (sprint) that looks cool and also has swype in it or just plainly a downlaod for the touch pro 2 for swype?

when i download it to my computer, what do i do?

1. Download attatched cab from darrens post
2. Connect your phone to your computer via activsync
3. Browse your computer for the swypenew.cab
4. Copy over to your phone in a place like "My Documents"
-you can just right click on the swypenew.cab and click "send to" then click your phone icon
5. Use file explorer and navigate to "My Documents"
6. Tap on the swypenew.cab
7. Follow on screen instructions

If you have one, copy cabs to a folder in your storage card instead.. Save you alil extra space on your device ;-)

Is this the smallest (resourse wise) swype install for TP2 ? I love swype but it tends to lag sometimes. Are there any tricks tho maximize its responsiveness and minimize memory use ?

It could be updated and refined by those that know, but right now, this is smallest.
There have been various issues with other larger cabs,
But they also may have better versions or bigger word libraries,
They also may contain specific phone setting that are not ours.
So it's a trade off

Is this the program that leaves the paths that your fingers follow inputting characters highlighted for a few moments? If so, I have seen it in use and it was quite fast, but I have never tired it. I have seen claims of over 55 WPM by experienced users!

If you try energy rom, all the latest ones have it.

The cab in the first replie should do just fine tho.

After you intall it, long press the keyboard sip and it will give you an option to switch between touch and swype.

Sorry to necro, where'd that cab go? I'm having to dredge my tp2 out of moth balls for a friend who lost their phone...

here's my copy of swype... I don't remember what was done to it to make it work on tp2 but it does.

I also included the slideit keyboard, you can swipe on it as well
