Cannot open JPG attachments sent from iphone 3!

I cannot open any JPG images sent from an iphone.
Using outlook synced with my Gmail.
It shows the paperclip like there is an attachment, but when i open the email, the file is not shown at the top of the email for download.

I tested forwarding myself the same jpg from gmail and it shows up in my mobile outlook - i can download the image.

Must be some way that the iphone is encoding the file. (if I search my gmail on my PC, the email sent from the iphone does not show up as having an attachment clip icon). Very strange.

It sounds like the problem is on the iphone end. Tell them to check their settings or use a different service or better yet use a different device.

Don't think so.
Never had this problem when I was setup with a Gmail account (non outlook) in windows mobile.

Problem occurred when I setup my Gmail account with Outlook's push mail settings on my windows mobile. I'm running spb mobile with Paven Maverick's ROM.

yea. the 2 options suggested in the quotes above were solutions. your problem is quite unique to say the least. also the workaround u was doing could be a solution as well.
