I need help. Registry for sip help
 

I have cooked my own ROM , and i have one issue i cant seem to solve . I cant seem to open up the SIP menu in order to change the software keyboard . I have re-enabled all SYS packages , and all EXT packages . the only way i was able to open the SIP menu . was while having IME ezinput EXT package enabled but i dont want that package on . I have flash other ROMs and noticed those have working SIP menuse without the ezinput package on . By the way including the ezinput cab does not make the default windows SIP menu appear it makes a totally different one open .

Does any one know what i need to do to fix this ? Its quite annoying .

Either ppcgeeks hates me or ive stumped the VIP's :P lol . this is a shock . a day goes by and no one posts .. hmm ..

I wish I could help you but I was hoping another chef would answer you. Other than starting over with a different kitchen or sys I don't know. Maybe you should PM someone like Vin. :dontknow:

well I'll send him a message . thanks . and what's weird is when you tap right below the sip arrow but right above the zoom bar it opens . I'm guessing there is a registry entry to adjust the pixels for the menu . I found some entrys that change the soft buttons but not the sip menu . bleh .

Im no cook, but I have ripped this phone apart as far as the registry goes. Have you tried using an app like Kheb to take snapshots before and after. If you are able to track the registry changes by opening closing enabling disabling and changing from one to another. Perhaps you will get more info.

I have used kheb , however it didn't log the values , just the keys . this is really weird . lol
