How can I permamently brick a TP2?

As per subject.

I'm wondering if there is a clear and permament way to brick a CDMA TP2?

I'm impressed at how solid those babies are, but I'm interested in knowing how it can be done, or if it can be done.

Any tips/suggestions?

It can be done.

Hmm...
Are you trying to do something unethical?

Just looking at the base knowledge of if it can be done and how one would go about doing it.

nothin' more, nothin' less!

Re: How can I permamently brick a TP2?

I have done the battery pull, and it brings me to the rainbow screen, which of course is recoverable from.

What is seen if you flash a GSM? What displays on the screen?

Unicorns?

Re: How can I permamently brick a TP2?

Okay. Thanks.

I like the WTF tag on this post.

So right now, when I boot up it just shows the rainbow screen with some SPL information.

On the GSM screen, does it show a radio version or any other information?

Re: How can I permamently brick a TP2?

there is no GSM screen. the first screen is the phone/manufacturer screen which shows rom and radio info, 2nd screen is the carrier screen usually (rom cooks usually change this one) and the 3rd screen is the windows screen. when a GSM radio is flashed u would just not see the other 2.

Re: How can I permamently brick a TP2?

Wow. You are psychic! COOL.

And no, I'm not. My phone isn't under warranty, I upgraded already... but I see a lot of people saying that it can't be done. I'm interested in finding out if it's possible
