Missing phone Calls & Texts
 

I'm unable to receive texts or phone calls. Making calls and using the internet works fine. What can be going on? I've tried calling tech support twice. They reset my phone on the network, but that never really worked. This led them to believe that it has to be a problem with my phone internally. Sometimes, my fine will work randomly. Then I will notice I haven't received a text in awhile, so Ill send myself a text and realize my phone isn't working right again.

One odd thing I noticed is that when I'm on a call, I am able to receive texts. WTF? I tried going to Sprint today and they said my phone passed the "post tests", and since I don't have the insurance plan there is nothing they can really do.

There has to be some way to fix my phone. Thanks in advance.

I sense a hard reset in your future. Backup your contacts, etc.

I notice that you have Sprint. Do you have an airave or airvana femtocell in your house or does your neighbor have one? If you hear three beeps when you connect a call or dial *99 send, then you are withing reach of one.

I have one and from time to time I don't get any calls and my text messages don't go through. It seems to happen randomly but can also happen if I have heavy traffic on my relatively slow 5mbps DSL.

If you have an airave or airvanna, unplug the power, let it sit for a few minutes and then plug it back in. That should help for a couple days.

I've hard reset many times and the Sprint technician did as well. Seems like that's all their good for. Calling into technical support is more beneficial.

I have good reception. That's not the problem. This happens anywhere.

seems that ur bein punished for converting to Andoid. try a Prl and profile update.

done that many times too. Weird tho. data works fine. usually data is what's messed up.

then i can only suggest that you get the phone replaced. usually CDMA phones dont have these kinda problems but i wouldnt rule that out. sign up for TEP and get it replaced.

I guess you have tried ##786# and reset?
Are you using the shipped rom or a custom?
Maybe flash the 6.1 shipped rom and see if it works. Then if it does flash back to whatever rom you want.
I suggest this because something in the radio portion of the flash memory may be corrupt.
