TPS GPS program that woks without data

Is there a TP2 GPS program that woks without data? I have read a lot of posts and can not figure this out.

Almost every program you have found in these threads except Bing and Google Maps. I use iGo8 (see link in sig).

Re: TPS GPS program that woks without data

I use iGuidance. Works great for me. Prob hard to find now but a decent choice if you can find it.

LOL... I have the full version on my carputer which I call "Irene" and on my phone, I have Irene's little sister, Irena.

David

Edit. Still available but the 2009 (latest version) is now on clearance. http://www.inavcorp.com/product/navi...idance_ppc.php

Re: TPS GPS program that woks without data

Each is based on only a need for USA maps. prices will change if you need more or differing maps.

Garmin, About $110 (wasn't able to find a decent page to post)
PharosGPS, Good basic program, $80 (Pharos Science & Applications | Products| Smart Navigator & Maps| NAV80US)
iGo8, (they have updated to 2010 version and I cannot find a PPC version for sale)
CoPilot $30 if you download, $55 for DVD, $60 for SD card (it does have online features, but maps can be downloaded onto SD card if you choose to download it) (CoPilot Live v8 | Features: ALK Technologies / CoPilot Live v8: ALK Technologies)

I have iGo8, PharosGPS and CoPilot, all 3 are great programs, but CoPilot is great and comparatively inexpensive.

Re: TPS GPS program that woks without data

Garmin xt is simply amazing. you can change the voice and vehicle icons and the routing algorithm is bar none the best I have ever used. SO much so that I will be buying all garmin from now on. Even my $400 765t moto unit (gorgeous screen) pales in comparison to the garmin for ideal route calculations.

I would love to find a good water navigation program though
