Holy crap someone help!!!

So I unlocked the phone and flashed a new rom on it. decided to go back to stock so I ran the .exe file I downloaded from here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/cdma-tp2-u...3-19-10-a.html

Now its running 6.1 windows, all my info is erased, and the computer does not recognize it as my old device. can someone help? I just want it to sync with my comp again and have the everything back to the way it was.

When i go to activesync from the device it says that I need to install the software from my getting started disc.

every time you flash, your sync settings are lost and you have to establish a new sync partnership. you have any other backup apps? try reinstalling wmdc, but the newly flashed phone should be recognised as a new device.

Yep.
Delete the old partnership and create a new one.

Re: Holy crap someone help!!!

i always just went to settings>system>about>device ID and renamed it what it was before... never gave me issues..

and ummm, you flashed a ROM, what did you expect to happen to your info???? if you dont do backups, you lose the info stored on the phone...

and as long as when you sync you have "folders" checked, even when it deletes it from the desktop, that folder is stored in c: under "user">documents folders... so it shouldnt be lost either... your contacts, well if you use outlook, theyre still in outlook as well
