MP3 Trimmer 3 seconds off in cuts??

Hey all,
I've search and searched here and all over the interwebs, and cant find any info on my issue.. I'm hoping some one here has a similar prob or better yet a solution. When I use MP3 Trimmer (stock 6.5 rom) I've noticed that it doesn't actually cut at the beginning and end second marks that you choose.. When you want it to stop at a certain part its just a little off so you move it a second back, or two, or three, and it is EXACTLY THE SAME PLACE in the song.
It seems that there's about a 3-4 second "window" that is unchanged.. then you select the end/start point before or after that "window" it jumps to the new selected time.. I hope you can understand what I'm trying to describe. Making ringtone cuts down to 1 whole second isn't perfect but is manageable.. But to have it cut within a 3-4 second gap is horrible!

Anyone else have this issue? Or any Ideas to improve it?

Wirelessly posted (htc Pocket PC: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 7.11) Sprint MP6950SP)

Maybe use the 6.1 shipped rom instead.

Maybe try using a different App for this. Have you hard reset lately?

Re: MP3 Trimmer 3 seconds off in cuts??

i can confirm this. i have also noticed that some ringtones i make might be a second or two off from where i start/end it. this on sprint 6.1, 6.5 and energyrom. it seems to be a issue with the htc mp3 trimmer app. not really a big deal to me, but i can confirm that you are not the only person that has noticed this
