I can't play some streaming radio mp3's that I could on Moto Q

I have had this problem on a Diamond and a TP2. I loaded Mighty Rom on both so I don't know if that is the problem.

I listen to 2 chicago radio streams all the time.

The streams are from WSCR located here The Mobile Stream Center USA - Listen to United States Radio Stations on your Pocket PC, Palm, Symbian-based handheld, Smartphone, PDA or other mobile device via Wi-Fi, GPRS or Bluetooth

and WBBM located here The Mobile Stream Center USA - Listen to United States Radio Stations on your Pocket PC, Palm, Symbian-based handheld, Smartphone, PDA or other mobile device via Wi-Fi, GPRS or Bluetooth

WBBM broadcasts the Bears games live without any sub needed and WSCR carries pregame and postgame and great coverage throughout the week of chicago sports so I am about to sell these phones just to recover the streams that played flawlessly on Moto Q.

I used coreplayer on Moto Q, Diamond and TP2. I also tried TCPMP.

Instead of playing the stream it says, "attention valued listeners, due to lawyers, the streams can no longer be heard due to licensing laws beyond the US?????????????

I am not outside the USA. and trying the streams on my MOTO Q plays the streams perfectly.

any ideas greatly appreciated.

If anyone with a TP2 could be so kind as to try the above streams and post their results I would appreciate it.

I tried both of you links on my touch pro 2 and they opened and played flawlessly with coreplayer. I'm using vindows plutonium rom 11/13

thanks, do you think it could be mighty rom? I have mighty rom on both the diamond and tp2.

One thing you could check is the coreplayer file associations in the settings. If thats not it i would try a different rom.

I set coreplayer to all file associations and it does play some streams fine. I am going to try another rom.

I changed roms to no avail. For some reason cbs radio streams like wscr and wbbm are detecting that I am outside of the United States. I don't know if this is because I am in SW Florida and it is an error or my ip is detected as outside the USA.

anyway, this really stinks.

opera mini proxy servers were the problem, using IE made it work fine.

there ya go solved your problem! and that would make sense since opera is based out in scandinavia.
