3g to WiFi automatically

Did a search on this forum and did not find what I was looking for but anyway....is there a cab file that would allow the TP2 to automatically switch over to WiFi when WiFi is available like the iPhone or does it not exist at all.....thanks

if you leave wifi enabled it will do this. use evo and when wifi is availalbe will notify you. you can black list them if you dont know them or add wep encryption if you do.

When Wifi is running and connected, the phone will use it first even if a data connection is also present.

while we're not on the topic, on my drive home from work, my phone's screen lights up at the same point on the freeway every day. I don't have the WiFi on, so I didn't think it'd autodiscover. I never really notice the screen turn on like that elsewhere. Does it autodiscover WiFi even if WiFi is off?

(EDIT: actually, I just realized that someone else posted an almost-identical question elsewhere...I think that I might just be moving from a no-service zone to one with service, though what's odd is that I can drive through that area while on the phone with no disturbance to the call...)

I seem to remember a project on xda that would check the gps at set intervals and you could set the locations where you want the wifi to turn on.
