USCC Force Roam on VZ

I know USCC has recently made an agreement with VZ. Do I edited my registry according to other posts and now I have a roam only option. When I select roam only, it goes to 1x not the 3g from the agreement. Anybody have any ideas, tips, or experiences? I did the USC rom update. I am on a USC TP2

You would have to custom edit the PRL (Preffered Roaming List) to favor Verizon towers.

I let it run for a little while and it picked up EV so I think it is going to work. It started in 1x but changed after a few min. This is great USCC has gotton so weak in my area used to be great but they say nothing has changed.
