LED light!!!

I installed android via the instructions from mobilemiddlemen on youtube, and the damn led light won't turn off! I have no new notifications and my phones fully charged but it blinks amber and green or stays solid amber ALL the time and I'm pretty sure it drains the bat too =(

someone help me!

Probably better off posting in the Android Development forum.

But the LED stays on for now, orange is supposed to indicate CPU is in use and green indicates your phone is asleep. No way that I am aware to disable it. I believe this is also in the FAQ.

And the LED won't drain the battery, it uses very very very very little power.

Current state of the Notification LED is more for diagnostic purposes. It isn't functioning yet for true notifications. It is more for diagnostics right now from my understanding to let you know that the phone is in sleep mode. If the light isn't Green when sleeping then it hasn't ran it's power collapse mode and it is draining your battery. I get an occasional Flash from Green to Orange and I assume it is when the phone wakes up to check things like mail etc. But otherwise it is Green all the time the phone is sleeping. Which is good!

I agree, it'd be so nice if instead of always orange it were always green, or not on at all.

A tiny piece of black electrical tape did the trick for me though

amber and green blinking is supposed to mean that its overheating. I've never had it happen, but I've read about it

i had android on my device as well and the orange light would turn off when it wanted too, as well as the green light, i took android off since that led drained my battery life, im sure after a while they'll get it fixed, until then no android for my PRO II

The LED did not drain your battery.

I've never heard of that, but if it is in fact true, I'm sure it's only when you're using Winmo and not Android. In Android, green means sleep, orange means phone is doing something.
