I was having the same problems with HTC Peep & Twikini (due to the oAuth changes)

While it's not ideal, I'm currently able to access using Azurea
http://refy.net/temp/SetupAzurea.1.2.1.CAB

And, when all else fails, there's always http://m.twitter.com

PockeTwit stopped working for about half a day, but works fine now.

ETA: Scratch that, getting communication errors this morning

MoTweets is working but seems finicky. It mostly updates but sometimes it can't retrieve timeline. When that happens, if I keep trying it eventually works.

Haha... I went to the twitter site and disabled HTCpeep thinking that might be the problem and now I'm not sure how to reactivate it... Is it downloadable? I know I sound like a n00b. But when it comes to Twitter I am.
Just started last month and kinda like it.
Now this problem.

it has to do with oauth or something like that. HTC needs to update the PEEP application to implement the new authorization code... how do we get them to do this??

I doubt they'll update WM HTC PEEP however they might update Android HTC PEEP and hopefully some hackers here can find a way to apply the fix for us

Why wouldn't they... It's still a phone that they are supporting. It wouldn't require them to create new software... Just an update.

yeah since sound started working i've been using android for the past 24 hrs and both Twidroyd and Tweetcaster are working for me. Looks like i'll have to stick with that until i can get my beloved TouchTwit 1.7 back working
