Anyway to change the end key to turn on / turn off the phone?

Is there anyway to use the end key to power on / off the phone? I hate the power button on top. I have spb mobile and other than that pretty stock. Thanks

There's certainly no way of turning it on with the end key short of re-soldering stuff. You may be able to get a program to emulate the power button press to turn the phone off with the end key. Personally, I'd use a program like advanced end-key replacement, xdashutdown, psshutxp, etc. etc.

If you could tear apart the key mapping for the VZW device and find out the two key maps for the end key and sleep button, you could put that on your phone and get the desire function. Verizon uses the top button to turn just the screen on/off and the end call button is to turn the phone on/off if you press and hold it. I don't think you'd be able to get the on functionality you want, but you could at least get it to turn the phone off.
