But I don't. How do I get rid of that notification for something that doesn't exist?

Try calling yourself, leaving a message, and then deleting it...then be sure to exit out of the system properly (press * until you hear her say goodbye). I thought that worked for me once, but I might be dreaming.

theres also hit talk>menu>options>cdma services>voicemail>clear voicemail
