Re: What's up with TP2 memory management?

I clicked the button for eric the rep wh0re ...ooxteme: That sounds useful, changing the memory allocation. Unfortunately I already flashed and started customizing the mr. x rom. Any chance he already tweaked that setting? I googled and saw some mention of that. Too bad there's no way to change without reflashing.

The rom looked so promising. It was very smooth and quick when I first got it. I installed cookie home tab and got that big old grid of 16 quicklinks... still fast and smooth.

Then I added a ton of pretty glass icons for all my favorite programs... chuggggg. Too bad. I guess 4x4 grid with lots of transparency + transparent flipclock = slowness. But still better than it was I believe, plus no programs have closed unexpectedly yet. I'm trying to see if I can live with 3x3 quicklinks and just scroll left and right. The icons are 128 x 128 anyway, they look so much nicer at large size.

Thanks for the page pool idea, never even heard of it, the next rom I flash I'm definitely looking for that. Maybe after a while I'll risk overclocking.
