Sprint TP2 phone keypad icon?
 

Hi. Maybe this is a silly question for you guys, but I'm a new TP2 user and I can't find in the user manual what does it mean this icon/ symbol (looked like an "aiming crossfire") that appears on the top right of my phone keypad. Before it was like this at the attached image, but now it's crossed with a /...
I only find out that if I press it with the stylus it makes a sound that increases with every touch...

edit: did a soft reset after installing some cabs and the symbol is appearing exactly like in the attached image, without being crossed with the / like it was.

it's your location. when it has the / through it, it's off. you can enable/disable it through your settings tab in sense

Ok thanks. It was annoying me not to know what was it :grin:
anyway I don't understand how it went off / without I'm doing any changes; I'm still running the stock rom and I'm not seeing that option under settings/ all settings...

if you slide all the way to your settings tab you should see an option for location. you can also go to start>settings>system>location settings

Nop, I'm sorry but I don't have that option. at least not under settings>system>... but I can't find it anywhere... That's ok, like I said I'm a recent user and I'm still running Sprint 6.1 stock rom, maybe it got something to do with that absent option.
It's coming the time of flashing it with a custom, maybe tomorrow Energy rom - I only have to decide between them :-? maybe GTX themed. By the way, I can't remove undesired apps that already come in that custom, can I?

any advise about those energy roms? I'm thinking in flashing cookie GTX...
The difference between cookie and standard is only the customised home tabs and the apps that already come installed, right? I like GTX theme but I think that the apps list is very extensive regarding the ones I desire - they can't be removed?
