Im a little upset. ive only had my tp2 for a month and dropped. Everything works, just my screen has some chips and dimples in it. I s the imagio a good replacement or should i just deal with it?? I have a custom rom, should i return it to stock to send back in or just send it back?

imagio doesn't have a hard keyboard. I personally would deal with it.

I would take imagio over over tp2 in verizon anytime. Verizon cripples their tp2 I think. If it was sprint then I would make them give me a tp2.

Re: asurion replacing TP2 with Imagio
I don't know if Asurion works with Verizon on inventory issues, but there is at least one TP2 refub available at Verizon. I just sent back one that I wound up not needing for warranty exchange. I just re-flashed the ROM and the hardware issues went away. Poor job by Verizon of refurbing the phone I have now (previous warranty exchange), but all is good now.
Bought new Sept 2009 Warranty exchange for dead touch screen June 2010, received refurb phone (Had keyboard/hard button issues from day one with refurb) Called for warranty exchange in July, received 2nd refurb phone. Tried new flash first, problem solved! 2nd refub phone going back unopened. I hope someone gets to use it. But they may need to flash it first... |
Re: asurion replacing TP2 with Imagio
The person i spoke to at Asurion transfered me to Verizon customer service they said they had none in stock....they were trying to do an in-store exchange for me and couldn't find any in stores. They have completely gotten rid of them. What kills me is Sprint still carries the TP2, why would Verizon give up on it if so many people still want and have them. Granted i've only had mine for a month and a half, but i moved up from a Vogue. I love this thing....i guess my only thing is to buy a digitizer and try to fix it myself.
I wish verizon had a repair center like sprint or better yet buy a new digitizer and take my phone to a sprint repair store and beg them to fix it....maybe slip them an extra 20. |
