i know i can turn down the pic quality, but i want to see if there are any other alternatives for that.

thanks!

hey domoarigato, not sure exactly what you are trying to do but if you do want to send the pics the way that they are, give this a shot. it increased the sending size to 4.9 mb. That should be more than enough to send an mms.

You misread OP's question sir.

I suppose you could lower the limit to something like 100kb so you will be prompted to resize/compress the image before it's attached. I've gotten the picture size down quite a bit (29kb?)

it really doesnt matter... Most carriers have a 500k cap on pic mail(especially lil flip and messaging phones... even if he increases his sending size, the person hes sending to wont be able to recieve it still...

however OP if you wanna change your size, here - not that thats what you asked for..

also, your gonna need to change your camera settings if you want to take pics and send them out.. Camera Settings: Resolution L(640x387) - you can still keep it on Super Fine and all your pics should be under 200-300kbs then... if your worried about Camcorder settings, enable MMS video mode using Advanced Config or Diamond Hacks(enable video share mode) and your vids should never be to big to send either...

just some suggestions

EDIT*** you can also go into WM messaging Inbox.. hit menu>pic/video options and youll notice a drop down box that says "Photo Resolution"-set it to VGA and that should compress your pics nicely when adding them to MMS msgs
