ICS not seeing network connection

I've been using Internet Connection Sharing on my TP2 with the stock WM6.1 rom ever since I got the phone last September. The other day I installed the HTC Wifi Sharing app (the one that shows up in the settings and not as a program) off my SD card so my friend could use his Ipad in the car. Today I go to use ICS with my laptop and under the Network Connection tab it shows <none> rather than Verizon Wireless. I'm guessing the HTC Wifi Sharing app changed some setting on my phone which is preventing ICS from using/seeing the connection. I've soft reset, re-installed ICS and uninstalled HTC Wifi Sharing. Everything else works as normal on the phone btw. Any help is much appreciated, I really rely on ICS. Thanks.

Re: ICS not seeing network connection

Thanks for replying. I actually have those two .cab's (or very similar) on my SD card from when I had my Titan. I installed them (they were never installed on my TP2) and things are worse now. Wifi says unavailable instead of connecting (I had this issue with WMWifiRouter a while back), and ICS is showing up as a program but not in the uninstall menu. The network connection tab is also now absent in ICS. Looks like a hard reset is coming up

Re: ICS not seeing network connection

You take your sim card out? If so put it in and everything will be good.

Yes...I did. I don't think I've tried ICS since I took it out either. Unfortunately the cards at home so I won't be able to try it until tomorrow, but you may be onto something there.

I think I've screwed it up further though, wifi is acting nutty. There isn't any wifi for me to connect to now but it's reminding me off the "unavailable" wifi status I had issue's with back on my Titan. And I can't uninstall ICS or the other fix's, and when I try to reinstall it's unsuccessful.

Re: ICS not seeing network connection

Back everything up (I like Myphone), and try a hard reset. Start from scratch.
