This package is not intended for your device type
 

Ive searched this forum and on Google but still cannot find a solution. When I try to upload a different rom version I keep getting this message in my phone:

This package is not intended for your device type!!! High chance of bricking!!! Exiting now.

Its now running on T-mobile created software but I want to run the original HTC rom.

Can this problem be fixed? :banghead:

I get this when I try to install the 1.00.OliNex ROM

thats the unlocker... its not a ROM... cant flash a ROM until your unlocked first

download unlocker to you desktop...unrar/zip the unlocker to a blank folder on your desktop.... connect phone via acticesync and wait for it to connect... run the unlocker .exe thats in blank folder.... follow the prompt...shoudl be good to go

It says that because you're trying to use the wrong unlocker. That one is for the cdma tp2. U need to go to xda-developers forum to get the one for your gsm tp2

Hopefully the OP (Original Poster) will also realize that once it's unlocked, the OP should not try to install the CDMA custom ROM's here. :banghead: Or he will be back.

that's why it is soooo important to READ and RE-READ very carefully the instructions.
