Sense 2.5 media player library

Is there a way to edit the library for the Sense UI music player? It's pulling in every audio file on my SD card including ringtones and such. It's quite annoying. Is there any way to remove items from the library or limit it to playing a specific folder? I don't want to make a playlist and add every album one at a time as I have many albums and they change...

There may be an easier way, but I use Total Commander to change the Attributes of my Storage Card Rings Folder Properties to Hidden. After that, I switch from Sense to Titanium, and delete the AudioManager_Eng file in Application Data\HTC. Then I switch back to Sense and let the Music Tab search for my music again. This new search will not include any hidden folders. Also, once you've finished having Sense search for your music, you can remove the hidden attribute on any folder if needed. Although, if you have Sense search for new music again, the ring tones will load back into your music library.

On a somewhat related note, if you would like Sense to load your music at start up, so there's no delay. Give the attached cab a try. Please note that having Sense load your music at start up will eat up a Megabyte or more of extra Program Memory (RAM), depending on how many songs you have loaded.

Also, if you'd like to enable Sense Cover Flow in landscape mode (like the iPhone), here's the registry edit:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila]
"EnableFullScreen"=dword:1

Hope this helps...
Best to all,
R
