Vibration with the On-screen keyboard

Has anyone figured out how to stop the vibration while typing on the on screen keyboard?

I have searched through past topics and any methods used to fix the problem don't work for me suxh as:

- "Scrolling to the settings tab... Then click on Personalize... Then click on vibration...Then uncheck the box. "

- "Changing the settings for text input (settings/locale & text/text input/turn vibarte off). This turns off the keyboard while typing text." (that setting isnt there for me)

TIA =)

This is the Touch Pro 2 forum, but your post indicates you are using a Android device.

Are you using a third party keyboard since killing key press vibrations isn't working on the default Touch Input keyboard settings?

Due to this ^

The above setting is on my HTC Android device, not on my TP2.

Accessing the on screen keyboard vibration setting is done from Settings/Personal/Input on my TP2....

this setting is also in the sense settings options... "locale/text blah blah" anyway OP, if both those things are unchecked it should work for you. maybe the rom u are running has another touch vibration software installed? in that case check the settings ->system menu, and there might be some more options in there
