active sync or outlook

Just wanting to upload pics n music to phone and want to know which is best, TP 2 with 6.5 stock, Sprint put 6.5 on my phone last week when I had white screen and phone wasn't working rite at all, had 6.1. Really like 6.5 better but don't want to screw any thing up
