Tilt 2 Bricked

I think I have made the ultimate screwup. I ran task 29, prior to flashing a new rom. To avoid a long story, I disconnected the USB cable, lost the connection, and now cannot get my phone to boot past the "Touch Pro 2" screen left over from a prior ROM. I have tried hard reboot, which works, only to have the phone boot to that TP2 logo screen and nothing else. I have searched this an other forums, cannot seem to find a way to get this back on track. Is it truly a brick now???

If you can flash a ROM, then it's not bricked. Try connecting your PC and flashing a ROM.

Re: Tilt 2 Bricked

It sounds like Task 29 did exactly what it's supposed to do. But just for Grins I would run it again. You'll have to enter the boot loader screen first.
1)Pull out your Battery and place it back in.
2)Press down the "Decrease Volume" and the Power On button at the same time. This will take you into the tri-color Bootloader screen.
3)Connect your device via USB and rerun Task 29.
4) Go back to step #1 and follow to flash your new Rom.

It won't until you flash a proper ROM. You'll just work through your USB connection on the Tri-color Bootloader Screen.

Cresco299, thank you! It is currently upgrading the ROM. I had tried other key combinations found online to get into bootloader, all of them were wrong. Your's worked.
