Sprint Touch Pro on SERO - Warranty Repair - Gave Samsung Moment (Android)

Just wanted to share this with everyone.

Father had a Touch Pro that started acting up, flashes itself every once in a while. He called and complained to Sprint a number of times. In the end they sent him a Samsung Moment. Got it yesterday, can't activate it, and the brilliant reps at Sprint can't understand why they can't do it.

We all know that Android phones can't be activated on SERO plans... damn them!

That is F'n ludicrous. I don't understand two things with this:

1) If you have a TP2, send us back a TP2 God **** it!!!!!

2) Why can't we use Androids on SERO?!?!

Seriously, more and more it seems to me that Sprint (and the affiliates) keep dropping the ball.

Most companies believe that Android users will and would take advantage of actually using a phone for web-browsing. I purchased a droid and sadly i have seen my data to be 3 times higher then it was on my Touch Pro 2.

Similar thing happened to my sister with her Diamond on a SERO line. Asurion sent out a Hero and, after hours of discussion, they agreed to send out a Diamond which was magically found in their stockpile.

I realize that the TP2 is no longer offered, but people seem to be getting them every once in a while... if not through Asurion, then through Sprint.

I was in a similar situation when i placed my order thru Asurion last week. They said that they didnt have any more TP2's and had no idea when they would get anymore in and offered me a Hero. I said because of my plan i wasnt able to take the Hero and was suggested to place the claim and wait on the waiting list (was told if i didnt finish the claim w/in 60 days, the claim would be close and not eligible for another claim later on) until the ordered was fulfilled. Received an email stating that my TP2 was shipped today and should receive it tomorrow....we will see what happens.

It's sad because i dont even touch the TP2. It just feels like a one night stand now.

maybe they're giving everyone androids bc they ARE becoming available in october
