Simple Question (HTC and Downgrading)

This recently just popped into my head..

But getting to the point.. Why does HTC advise against 'downgrading' 6.5 back to 6.1? I've never seen any ill effects from flashing around all the customs.. What could be their reasoning? (They state it like it's a bad idea.)

Re: Simple Question (HTC and Downgrading)

Because they don't want to support the old bugs anymore, just the new ones... it's like MS requiring you to have SP3 on XP to get continued support. Certain issues were fixed in the new release so they don't want to keep hearing about them.

I suspect they advise against it because that's what their legal department has told them to say.

I didn't think of it like that. I took it like "You will possibly break your phone in doing so". Even though I know it's not true..

Lol Nice one doctor.
